People interested in sewing usually know what they want to make, but they don’t usually know where to start. If your loved ones have expressed an interest in sewing, you should give them the gift of a good foundation.
I offer a three-part sewing series for beginners. Students learn the basics of sewing while making fun projects that minimize frustration and provide a sense of accomplishment.
Sewing & Craft Classes
Learn how to sew the right way by taking fun-filled, project-oriented classes. I specialize in teaching at the beginner level, but I also offer advanced classes for my more experienced students.
Whether you’ve never threaded a needle, or you’re simply looking to take your sewing to the next level, you can count on me to provide patient instruction as you progress.
Sew It All TV Filming!
I’m excited to announce that I recently completed filming for an episode of Sew It All TV. Sew It All is a TV show carried by select PBS affiliates. It’s also a special interest magazine published by the Creative Crafts Group, the same editors that bring us Sew News and Creative Machine Embroidery.
Season 7, which includes my episode, will air on PBS sometime in March or April 2014.
Learn about the benefits of taking classes at Elizabeth Chandler Designs, such as a positive learning environment for children as well as adults, project-oriented classes, open studio hours, free tutorials, and access to a community of local sewing and craft enthusiasts.
