And Then I Had a Cat Blog…
My cat was beat up by the neighbor’s dogs.
I’v tried to tell him, but he never listens to me, that he needs to start acting his real age. He’s 9 years old, and if he ever was an Alpha male, he’s more like a Gamma now. He was chasing a new cat’s scent trail out of our yard, and over the chain-link fence. Unfortunately he met three dogs on the other side. Due to his age and extreme terror, he couldn’t jump back over. Luckily the dogs’ owner and I were outside to save my little (fat) kitty. He only received minor cuts and scratches, but his ego is severly bruised. He hasn’t left the porch since.
