Comfort Food

One of my favorite comfort food dishes is Palačinkes. This is the Croation version of the crêpe. (Click here for a recipe)

Here I am mixing the batter.

Now I’m pouring it in a pan over medium-high heat for a few minutes on each side, until lightly browned.

Here I am trying the flip. I finally mastered it towards the end.

And here’s a stack of about two dozen palačinkes.

These can be filled with jam or even chocolate! We like to serve them after Chicken Soup
